Mendo's Ongoing tourney

How it works: No signup required, make a card fitting the description of what I ask for, enter the card by the deadline(Sunday), we judge on Monday, results should be up Monday night along with the next theme. You get points based on where you scored, everyone gets at least 1 point. There are bonuses and prizes sometimes so keep an eye out for them.

Rule: Picture Cards only, Must be of your Creation, No Bandai
made cards, No entering someone elses card, Entries are Preferred to be
New but aren't required to be.

General Judging Criteria: New Judging system:
Grammar: This is the part that is needed Spelling, Capitalization, Punctuation, ect…. (This will be out of 5 points)
Playability:
This is where your card will be judged to see if it will be used in any
deck types or if its just a useless card (This will be out of 5 points)
Creativity: Is your card creative or is it just a “cookie cutter” card pretty self explanatory. (This will be out of 3 points)
Art: Does your art fit the cards effect/name? (This will be out of 2 points)

Alright as you can see now there will only be a 15 point total judging score a little weird but, hey Im weird.

This is how each category will be broken down:
Grammar:
-.25 points for each misspelled word
-.25 points if there is a word missing
-.25 points for each punctuation mistake
-.25 points for each Capitalization error
-.50 points for each non legit sentence

Playability:
-1 point if the card is playable but there are better cards like it out there
-1 points if the card is to good.
-1 points if the card can be played but takes multiple cards to get its full use
-2 points if the card is unplayable
-5 points if the card is absolute garbage

Creativity:
-.50 points if there is an effect that you just threw on for no reason
-.2 points if the cards effect is just ripped off

Art:
-.25 points if the picture fits the card, but its not the greatest
-.50 points if the picture is over used
-1 points if the picture if completely irrelevant to the card

Point Prize System: This is something I've been working on adding and now am, here's how it goes. You PM me what you want, be it make a card(don't include card info) or select theme(include the desired theme), on Mondays, judging day, I will go through and PM back 1 person for each thing. That is when you tell me what specifics you would want on your card. I am a busy person and there is only 1 theme per week. So I will only be accepting 1 request for each area. Whoever has the most points will win the rights for that week. Then points will be subtracted and you can expect your card within the week. In the case of the theme I will probably use it then and there.

Point Prizing:
15points- Select Next weeks theme
1 Free Prize- Turn into 15 Points
1 Free Prize- 1 thing that will help your card making

Tally Prize System: Here's another new one for you guys to encourage participation. Each week starting from now on I will be keeping a tally of who participates weekly, your allowed to miss 1 week each month, if you miss more than 1 then you start from the beginning again. For every 10 tallies you get, you get 1 free prize choice. I know that seems like a lot compared to the points, but hey its free prizing for those who don't wanna spend points. Also if you simply can't win enough points cause you keep getting last, here's yur chance to score. You can see how many free prizes you have to use in the point board area. Free prizes apply to the same rules as point prizes do, only 1 wins. And its based on how many points you got.

Quality: 4.5. The template is wrong at the bottom by the 'C005'. You can see a sharp cut off.
Text: 3/5. The text is too far separated. The "DEMON OF THE MIST VILLAGE" Should be farther down on the card.
Effect: 2.5/5. It is very similar to the First Rare Zabuza card, except you added the second effect, which makes it broken, because it gives you the upper hand.
Creativity: 3/5. Like I said, very similar to the Rare Zabuza card. The picture is extremely common amongst Zabuza cards.

Quality: 4/5. The template has a few rough edges on the water background
Text: 5/5. Very good.
Effect: 5/5. The effect is not broken, but it isn't bad, either. Very well balanced.
Creativity: 3.5/5. The effect sounds something like Gaara [AG] from Coils, except you don't have to discard a Ninja. The picture has been used before, but then again, there haven't been many Haku cards.

Quality: 3.5/5 The template is kind of blurry
Text: 2/5. The "M"'s don't look like "/\/\", You spelled "Jonin" wrong, The name is very badly cut out, and the flavor text is hard to read.
Effect: 5/5. Solid effect.
Creativity: 4/5. Pretty unique effect, although the picture has been used before.

You didn't properly space between characteristics.
The color of the characteristics seems a bit light.

I like the effect but i think letting it off twice is a slight bit too much.

Pretty unique effect, though Ninja effect damage is becoming more and more popular. Pretty unique picture, I don't think I've seen it too often.

You need to cap certain words like Ninja.

You need to add for the turn to the first effect or else the +2 stays forever.
Other than that the effect is pretty good.

Everyone did great and now once SS judges the rest I will post results on the first page and this weeks theme. Remember all the important stuff will show up in the 2nd post.

Also keep in mind everything that you lost points on and you can raise your score on each card by fixing them. I try to note why ppl lost points to help better themselves, I know I like it when I get told why I'm losing points in a tourney lol.
