The thing is, that the only First Hokage jutsu other than Infinite Darkness Jutsu is Deep Forest Creation, which was his signature super technique. The reason that's a problem is that Yamato even stated himself that he is no where near as skilled in Mokuton Jutsu as the First was. So, while there will be new wood jutsus and such, they'd all be requirement Yamato or First, or requirement Tree to save space. Yamato isn't strong enough to use DFC, so Yamatos that can use First Hokage jutsus are kind of out of flavor.
