Mendo's Lazy Tourney

How it works: No sign up required, make a card fitting the description of what I ask for, please enter by the deadline (Saturday). Along with entry please suggest a theme (or support a prior suggestion) for the following week, and vote for which of the entries from the prior week you think should win. I will try my best to update the theme the day after deadline. (I apologize now if I fail to.)

Rule: Picture Cards only, Must be of your Creation, No Bandai
made cards, No entering someone else's card, Entries are Preferred to be
New but aren't required to be.

Scoreboards: Winners- Rather than counting points we count how many times each person has scored first place. Theme Chosers- Additionally, I'll keep track of how many times your theme idea is chosen.

ok so heres my entry, its earth symbol, 3 entrance cost-shikamaru nara, 4 entrance cost- shikaku nara, and 5 entrance cost-asuma sarutobi.

Karin


She pretty much sets you up for the upcoming card. She's kind of balanced out by sticking with the 2 card in hand thing.

Suigetsu


Basically you get a free 2 drop if you search it with Karin and have her still in play. And his 2nd effect allows for massive pooling of Chakra.

Jugo


So if you keep your Chakra, he's a strong *** monster. If you wish to dump it, you can give Damage away. By the way, I changed his Combat Attribute because Wisdom is dumb...

They all basically help each other out. Karin searches for either one, preferably Suigetsu. Suigetsu becomes a 2 drop and starts to get chakra. Jugo comes down and wrecks havoc as a 7/0 9/0 or a Damage Dealer.

Just for future reference, MJM, the "Wisdom" Combat Attribute was a misprint. That katakana - "Ka" - is actually "Power", as seen on the Kimi & Jugo squad. Just compare it to Chishima, who does have "Wisdom" Combat Attribute.

At least, I think this is correct.

Filler Theme. Any Filler Character besides Tenten.

genjutsu theme. with newer cards there has been a rise in genjutsu combat attribute ninja, but i feel it is still lacking so i suggest genjutsu combat attribute ninja cards

Maybe the great wide world around the Leaf. Make cards of characters that aren't from the Leaf Village, preferably ever (sorry Roachi, Madara, and Itachi). Who's your favorite Kiri-nin, or Suna-nin? Which Kumo-nin did you like best/look forward to seeing as a card?

Make your favorite Ninja from Naruto. Any Ninja from the series, as long as its your personal favorite.

Nice, but you might lose points on the turn counters; not 1, 2, 3, or 3, 4, 5. That requirement is partly what's throwing me off, right now.

Well, here's my team for the week; the 5th Mizukage, and her protectors at the Kage Summit.



Chojiro doesn't do much on his own, other than being a T3 Jonin, which can be cool if you are not playing Block. When his Lady gets to the field, however, he steps his game up, becoming as powerful as a Kisame or Zabuza, other members of the Seven Swordsmen. His Bodyguard (https://customcardsyume.4umer.com/make-your-own-cards-preferably-images-f11/fan-made-card-rules-t520.htm#5073) ability also helps a bit.



We then reach Ao, a bit more seasoned and experienced, and carrying the power of the Byakugan. With the Mizukage already here, the deck can have some Earth, or some reason to expect multi-elements, for Chakra Affinity fuel. This way, a Water Ninja can use Byakugan. He also has Bodyguard (see link above).



Then we get the head of the team, herself. Mei is a powerful shinobi, able to get cards into her hand, or out of it, both for her and her teammates. She aslo debilitates male enemies, sort of like Tayuya, but not quite so broken. She has some nice attributes and a decent array of options at her disposal. She can also serve well as either a Head or Support Ninja.

Well, there they be, the Kiri-Three, my entry for the week.

Kekkei Genkai theme. A character with a kekkei genkai, and maybe a jutsu or mission to reflect that KG in action, if the ninja card's effect doesn't cover that.

Whats Bodyguard?

my dream team:



whole idea is very simple - to make them stick together.
-sakura is there to provide safe pass from jutsus.
-sakura and shizune should make tsunade enter in a 5th turn.
-shizune is there to provide some useful jutsu, and mission hate for her medical colleagues.
-both of them are there to make tsunade invulnerable in the showdown.
-tsunade is there to strike with brutal force.
-what can i say, my favorite element, and my dream team.

Here is my Team for the week. Naruto's family.



So he can copy the effects of your in play Jiraiya, The Fourth Hokage, or Nagato since he inherits something from each of them. As for his second effect this would let him use rasen shuriken without taking damage, so you would just either have to beat him in the showdown or remove him from play.



She is all about helping you with drawing more cards, plus even if you don't have Naruto with her you can have the 4th Hokage to use her 1st effect. As for the second effect, the damage is reduced because the Uzumaki clan is known for their vitality and sealing jutsus, so her and Naruto get damage reduced by 1.



His first effect was to save him and 1 Ninja on his team like he did with Kakashi, and his 2nd effect is because even though Tobi could go intangible he still hit him with his rasengan. Hope you like them.

Also for another theme how about posting a personal made fan-fic character .You don't have to do the image yourself but its your ninja.

Somehow, I'm not sure why , I like your idea. Of course, then I'd have to pick one.


Oh, and for Bodyguard, here is the entry:

Bodyguard: [New Rule] A Ninja with Bodyguardtakes on the task of protecting another Ninja in its Team. During yourMission phase, you can designate another Ninja in this Ninja's Team. Ifthat Ninja would receive any Damage, you may give that Damage to thisNinja, instead. A Ninja using Bodyguard cannot, themselves, beprotected with Bodyguard; they are putting themselves too much at riskto avoid injuries.

Example: The Fifth Mizukage [RUTHLESS BEAUTY, HALTING SMILE] is in a Team with Ao [MIZUKAGE'S GUARDIAN]. Duringyour Mission phase, you can select 1 Ninja in this Ninja's Team, and,in this case, you select The Fifth Mizukage. Until your nextMission phase, if your The Fifth Mizukage would receive any Damage, Aocan automatically take it, instead. If you had two Bodyguard Ninjas(say Chojiro [TO PROTECT THAT SMILE] in the same Team, with the same target, you can allocate any Damage as you wish between Bodyguards.

I laugh because I picked those same names, and had forgotten that I had used them there. Those Ninjas didn't exist when I made those names for this effect.

As an unrelated, has anyone been watching previews at Bandai? It looks, at least to me, like may of the cards are taking on the look of the Target 6 format cards. All of the Untouchable tins previews have it. Is that the upcoming look for all Ninja cards, now, and are we going to have to be using it for tournaments, soon?
