this is my entry:

RIVALRY: " Name "

ninja with rivalry: " name " characteristic gains +2/+2 during the turn, each time your opponent's ninja with "name" in your "rivalry" characteristic, is sent out to battle.

this characteristic is made to present, that many of ninjas would fight with more passion, if they would fight with specific person. examples are:
naruto vs sasuke
gai vs kakashi
deidara vs itachi
ino vs sakura
etc...
i think the effect is not so strong, but it could be very usefull in game.
so, i made first ninja with this effect, MAITO GAI!

EDGE
Ninjas with EDGE do not count towards the 1 Ninja per turn rule. Ninjas Put in play by this effect get +1 Hand Cost.

There is a Konohamaru that would basically negate the EDGE effect, but since most people play block and not unlimited, it wouldnt matter. In unlimited the konohamaru would essentially allow you to play upwards of 3 Ninjas in 1 turn. With EDGE the player gains a better field advantage at the cost of his hand, but could win the game right away. I thought this could be a fair trade off, since I dont play block, Ive play tested the 2 cards Im posting and used the EDGE effect, it certainly helped but to me, the loss of certain cards from a hand, Id think, would balance this effect out.

ok so obviously SPECIALTY: are jutsu card requirements, and if the Ninja becomes the user of a jutsu card with one or both of the requirements that jutsu can't be negated.

so for example, if the shikamaru uses shadow possession that jutsu card cannot be negated.

so tell me what you think.

I believe it was nightmare. Sadly we we're hoping for more entries but didnt get many. Apparently, most ppl don't care about our fonts and sizings.

Is there going to be another one of these? I had fun with this one, and would like a chance to win the squad/reinforcement templates if possible.

BTW, the fonts are great, the cards Ive made look so much better now.

Templates arent mine ot give away. Thats up for the creator. And if hte day comes where a template is given away im gonna try to have it be through my tourney. :P

I think this one's sort of old. Right now, I think mendo's naruto4ever's ongoing tourney is the only one that's really active right now. That being said, it's great having new entrants, so I hope to see you there!
